Bill Hindman, Host

Meet Bill Hindman, your host.  Bill was born in raised in rural Pennsylvania.  He spent many of his early years working as a floral designer.  He has traveled through many areas of Latin America, but Mexico is by far his favorite.  He has spent time vacationing in various Mexican cities including Can Cun, Acapulco, Mazatlan and his favorite Puerto Vallarta.  Bill says that Puerto Vallarta is the most 'Mexican' of the cities he's visited.  He enjoys its authentic Mexican flavor so much that he moved there to run Villas David in Vallarta.  Bill is very friendly and will be able to help you find things in Puerto Vallarta.  He can also answer questions about traveling to Mexico, because he's done that so many times! Bill is also a pretty good cook and will be preparing you breakfast each morning during your stay at Villas David.

David Held, Owner
Meet David Held, the owner of Villas David in Vallarta.  David was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He moved his family to the very rural Hookstown, Pennsylvania in 1983 to work at a power plant.  He currently holds a supervisory position in the plant's control room.  David has also traveled all over Latin America.  He really enjoys Mexico.  His favorite vacation spot in Mexico is Puerto Vallarta which is why he chose to open Villas David there.  David spends as much time as he can at his Villa, so maybe you will see him while you are there.  He'll be able to help you find your way around Puerto Vallarta's day and night activities and answer any questions you have about travel to Mexico.  If you have any questions about your trip before your departure, David is the person to ask.  You can also call him to make reservations or for more information.  He will be more than happy to help.

Athena, Co-Host and Beloved Pet

Meet Athena, a ten-year-old Pomeranian and co-host at Villas David.  Athena has been our beloved little princess since we adopted her from an animal rescue league two years ago.  Athena is a friendly dog and enjoys company.  She loves Danish Butter Cookies and Sweet and Sour Chicken.  She also enjoys Puerto Vallarta.  She loves walking on the Malecon or on the beach.  She probably will not be able to answer your questions, but she really would like to help make your stay at Villas David an enjoyable one.

Philip Held, Web Site Designer

Meet Philip Held, the designer of this Web Site and David's son.  Philip was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Hookstown, Pennsylvania when he was six years old.  Philip recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.  He is now working for an automotive electronics company in Ohio.  Philip has been to Mexico many times and to a few other places in Latin America.  He really enjoys the beautiful, warm weather in Mexico and the spectacular beaches.  He also enjoys the Mexican night life - the dancing, the Mexican beer and the Tequila!  Philip tries to get away to Mexico as much as he can, so maybe you will see him while you are there.  He will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.


Jennifer Held, Administration

Meet Jennifer Held, David's daughter.  She helps out with the administrative aspects of Villas David and assists with writing the publications.  Jennifer was also born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Hookstown, Pennsylvania when she was three years old.  She is currently a sophomore at Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia.  She is studying Psychology.  Jennifer has also traveled to Mexico several times.  Her favorite thing about Mexico is the opportunity it provides to just relax.  Jennifer tries to spend as much time as she can at Villas David.  Maybe you'll see her while you are there.  She will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
