Go to the Network and Dial up connection windowand
find the Brads' Net connection. |

Click on the icon and select properties
from the popup menu. |

Under the General Tab Click the rules
button. |

up the phone and modem options, Click Edit
(if nothing there, click New. |

18. Enter the area
code in the area code box. a. If you have
call waiting, check the To disable call waiting box,
and enter *70, in the text box directly to the right.
b. Ensure tone dialing is set (if you use tone
dialing), and then click on the Area Code Rules tab. |

| 19. If you have nothing
under Area code rules click New,
if you do, click Edit. |

20. Enter the area
code into the area code box. a. Leave
the Prefixes section at the defaults b.
Under the Rules section, check the Include
the area code box c. Click OK. |

| 21. Click
Apply, and then OK |

| 22. Ensure the telephone
number will be dialed correctly, Look at the lower
left corner of the screen then click Apply,
and click OK. (You will be returned to the Brad's
Net Properties box) |

| 23. Click on the Networking
Tab, and ensure TCP/IP, and Client
for Microsoft Networks are checked. |

| 24. Select Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) and click the properties
button. |

| 25.Ensure the selections
onyour computer matchs this picture, and then click the Advanced
button. |

26. Ensure your settings
match this screen, and then Click OK.

| 27. Click OK

28. Click OK Again.

29. Now you are back
to the Network and Dial-up connections window, Right click
the Connection Icon, and select Create Shortcut.
a. You will get a message box saying that windows
cannot create a short cut here, would you like to put the shortcut
on the desktop?? CLICK YES! And you’re finished. |
